Track from Hackers…
Have you ever been in a situation when you have to save something on your thumbdrive but you don’t have your thumbdrive with you? Internet access is available. Yes you can email the file to yourself or have your friend email it to you. But what would you do if the file is too big for as an email attachment? I don’t wanna waste CD. Especially when the file is less than 100MB.
I normally would connect to my server and upload it for temporary storage. But what if you don’t have a server online? All you need is just Gmail account.
Gspace is an extension for Mozilla Firefox. This extension allows you to use your Gmail Space for file storage. Once installed, restart Mozilla Firefox and go to “Gspace” option in your “Tools” menu. You will then see an interface similar to an FTP application.
Please use this program at your own risk!

This is not a tutorial so there won’t be any step-by-step guide on how to use it but I will try and explain it as briefly as I can.

You will see the that now your browser is acting as your online storage device. Simply drag and drop a file onto the highlighted area.

Or you use the -> (Upload) or <- (Download) function. Just browse for the file, click on -> button and your is uploaded. Simple eh?

You can view the status of your transfer.

Now your file is stored online. Well done!
