I hate this feeling of missing something…

I have the best mom in the world. Why? Because I says so. No? Because she’s simply the best mom in the world. Haha… You can ask my friends.

It was her birthday a few days ago and I decided to take mom out shopping for her birthday present. She’s been hinting that she wanted a new pair of sandal since last month. Haha… So yeah…

Well, I don’t know why but as soon as I step foot in One Utama, I was hypnotized by the word S A L E in all the shops. I couldn’t resist myself but to shop for something too. And thanx to mom’s honest opinion, I got myself a new shirt, polo shirts and a pair of jeans. Of coz I got mom her birthday present as well. Haha…

We then had sandwich for dinner and sat and talk about stuff. One conversation sounded like this,

Mom: Tadi masa awak tgh try baju, ada 2 awek lalu.. putih.. cantik..
Me: Serious? Mama tak cakap kat dia yang abang kirim salam?
Mom: Tak… Tapi lawa betul la… tinggi…
Me: Yeker? Alaa…
Mom: She’s tall… putih.. kulit lawa… wearing heals… and a mini skirt..
Me: *Gulp* WOW!

Wow! I can’t believe we had this kind of conversation. Believe me, I’m not making this up. Another conversation in Renoma that goes something like this,

Mom: Why do you wanna buy pink shirts? Don’t look good on you lah..
Me: Alaa… ma, it’s not dark pink.. it’s light pink.. let me try lah then you see…
Mom: Alaa.. remember the time you bought the pink polo at Bali last year? Tak pakai dah..
Me: Ma, tu baju untuk perempuan. Abang salah beli kan.. (actually knew about it but didn’t bother)
Mom: But why pink?
Me: Because pink is the new black. Mama tak tau ker?
Sales assistant: So how?
Me: Ma, ok tak?
Mom: Takkkkk…
Me to sales assistant: Ok. I’ll take it!

I guess it’s just how we are. And I’m happy to be blessed with such a wonderful mother. Sporting too. Kan?
