Today I went to gym after work. Just like any other day, I circled around True Fitness a couple of times until I spot that perfect parking. It was right in front of a new karaoke bar. I don’t remember the name. So anyway…
I was walking back to my car when I notice a grey Proton Waja blocking my car. “I hope I’m not gonna be stuck long” I said to myself. The driver didn’t leave a note or a number. Typical! I tried honking my car a couple of times and there was no responds. I guess I have to walk in all the bars to find the owner then. Shit!
I went to all the bars, a korean restaurant and the spa centre and asked the same question and got the same answer, “No one driving that car sir”.
Which fucking idiot would double park and not leave a note. I started feeling agitated. The bartender from across the street came and ask me what’s up? I told him about the situation and he asked me to try the restaurant down the street. I said why not and walked in, talked to the staff and walk out and waited outside. Suddenly an indian lady came out. I asked her if it was her car and she said yes.
She just answered to me as if nothing was wrong. She didn’t say sorry. She didn’t even smile! All she did was walked to her car, reversed and blocked another incoming car and left me with a small space to reverse my car. So she can take my parking spot! WTF B? That is so uncool!
I’m fine with people double parking. I do it too. But do it right. Leave a note. A namecard at least. It’s about being courteous. And if you know you’re blocking someones car, please be aware of the surroundings. And please say sorry because I had to search high and low for you because you blocked my car!
I wanted to say something to her but I felt it’s best that I walk away. Nonetheless, I get to bitch about you!
FYI, I leave sticky notepads in my car in case I need to double park. Everybody is in a hurry and everybody double park. But don’t be selfish. If everybody were to have the same attitude, we could all live in harmony.
Really…
